Founded in 2018 in East Hollywood, Angry Chickz was born from a passion for bold flavor and a love of spice. After discovering Nashville Hot Chicken in 2017, founder David Mkhitaryan became obsessed with creating his own version of the southern classic. Drawing on years of experience working in his family’s restaurant, he spent a year perfecting the recipe—juicy, spicy, and packed with flavor.
With the support of his wife and best friend, David opened the very first Angry Chickz in a small 900-square-foot storefront with one simple vision: serve the best hot chicken with the best customer service. Since then, Angry Chickz has grown into a fan-favorite destination, known for its crave-worthy tenders, sandwiches, and sides that bring the heat and keep guests coming back for more.
